We launched the SoyLic API for developers
You can now query the SoyLic legal library of Mexican law from your own applications: what it offers, how it is paid and where to start.
Today we are opening the SoyLic API. If you build software for law firms, legal departments or legal tech, you can now bring the Mexican legal library into your own applications. The content is in Spanish.
What you can do
- Search federal laws and the laws of the 32 states.
- Search articles by text and by meaning.
- Look up theses with their type (jurisprudencia or isolated) and, in the detail of each one, their status (for example, whether it was superseded).
How it is paid
Update of October 22, 2026: the API is no longer included in the plans. It is paid separately, with prepaid credits that never expire. Each query uses 1 credit for laws, articles and theses, and 2 for rulings.
| Package | Price in Mexican pesos (MXN), VAT included |
|---|---|
| 10,000 queries | MX$290 |
| 50,000 queries | MX$990 |
| 250,000 queries | MX$2,990 |
You get 1,000 free credits to try it when you create your first key. Each key also has a daily limit. The details are in the documentation.
